Sherwood Bible Church first started in 1920 on 2814 Troost Avenue under the name of Central Bible Hall. After some time, the church underwent a name change to Central Bible Church. 

After much prayer and consideration, Central decided that the Lord was leading Central to a new location, North of the river. On March 4, 1984, Sherwood Bible Church met for the first time at the 4900 N Norton property. 

The past 100+ years have been full of God's goodness and graciousness to Sherwood. Our mission is to know the Savior and make Him known. We want to make His goodness and graciousness known to everyone around us, including you!
